Associate Professor, Physics

Dr. Sharad Kumar Vaish did his M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Physics from department of Physics, Lucknow University, Lucknow. He qualified National eligibility test for lectureship and Junior research Fellowship exam in 1996. He has been selected by U.P. Public service Commission, Allahabad as assistant Professor in Govt. Degree Colleges and joined as Assistant Professor (physics) at Govt. Post Graduate College Rishikesh Dehradun on 26-12-1998.Later he was transferred to M.P. Govt. P.G. College Hardoi in 2010. Presently he is working as Associate Professor and Head, Department of physics, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College Aliganj, Lucknow. He has teaching experience of 20 Years in U.G. and P.G. classes. He is the life member of Indian Association of Physics teachers and Life member of Indian Association of Science. He worked as Convener/Member of RUSA, IQAC, Examination, Computer, admission, career counseling and other administrative committees etc. in the college. He worked as member of selection committee in Uttarakhand public service commission for the appointment of lecturers, member of selection committees at C.S.J.M. University Kanpur for appointment of assistant professor in associated Degree Colleges. He oraganised two national workshop on Robotics in association with Robokart.com and IIT Mumbai at Govt. P.G. College Hardoi. He organised two national seminars on “Bioresource management and global sustainability” and “Emerging Trends in Science & Technology in 21stcentury”as organizing secretary at Govt. P.G. college Hardoi. He also organized physics exhibition on national science day 28, Feb. 2019 at physics department in the present college. He published and presented more the 50 papers in national and international journals as well as national and international seminars and conferences. He edited book “Emerging Trends In Science & Technology in 21stcentury”. He has been research supervisor at H.N.B. Garhwal Central University Sri Nagar Garhwal and C.S.J.M. University Kanpur. He supervised two research scholars, one of them has been awarded D.Phil. by H.N.B. Garhwal Central University Sri Nagar Garhwal Uttarakhand and other is registered as research scholar at C.S.J.M. University Kanpur.
