Mr. Arvind Assistant Professor, Psychology graduated in B.A.(Hons) Psychology,AIH and Hindi from faculty of Arts, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur in year 2003. He did M.A.(PSYCHOLOGY) from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur in year 2005. He qualified National eligibility test for lectureship and Junior research Fellowship exam in June 2010. At present, research work is going on in the Department of Psychology, Lucknow University for PhD certificate on the topic 'Role of spirituality in mental stress, insecurity and loneliness of retired people: a comparative study'. He has been selected by U.P. Public service Commission, Allahabad as assistant Professor in Govt. Degree Colleges and joined as Assistant Professor (Psychology) at Mahamaya Government Degree College Mahona Lucknow on 18/02/2016. Later he was transferred to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College Aliganj, Lucknow in 2018. Presently he is working as Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Psychology, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College Aliganj, Lucknow. He has teaching experience of 08 Years in U.G. classes. His 02 research papers published in reputed national/international UGC Care Listed/peer-reviewed journals and published two book chapters. Participated in 35 national and international seminars.

Department of Psychology

The Department of Psychology in the college has been established in 1997 with the beginning of the college. It offers under-graduate classes to young girls from Aliganj and adjoining areas to pursue B.A. with Psychology as one of the subjects. Presently, the department has one post. Under the aegis of Student‟s Council, the department conducts various psychological activities every year to assist in the all-round development of its students. The department also provides Departmental Library facility for its students. In addition to the conventional chalk and talk method, audio visual as well as innovative methods are applied to enhance comprehension and generate interest.
