Dr. Parul Mishra graduated from Lucknow University in year 2000 in First Division with 69%. She Completed her M.Sc. with Specialization in Inorganic Chemistry in year 2002 securing 1st Position with 68% in Lucknow University.
Her Ph.D. Thesis was on “Synthesis and structural studies on organometallic derivatives of Tin and Antimony” from Lucknow University and completed in year 2007. She worked in Inorganic Chemistry and published 05 International papers in reputed Journals. She has presented her research findingsin about 15 National and 02 International seminars. She joined Govt. P.G College,Hardoi in August 2008 as contractual lecturer in Chemistry, then she was transferred to Govt. P.G College, Rajajipuram , Lucknow in year 2012. She was regularized on Dec 2016 as Assistant Professor,Chemistry.She was transferred to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G College in June 2017. DrParul Mishra is Presently working as Head of Department andAssistant professor in Department of Chemistry.
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls PG College is one of the best Girls’ educational institute in Lucknow, which gives qualityeducation in science. Department of Chemistry was established in year 2005. The First Assistant Professor in Chemistry department was Dr. Ajay Kumar Saini then Dr.KhursheedAhmed who was followed by Dr.Saurabh Kumar Singh.
Dr.Parul Mishra is working as Assistant Professor in Department of Chemistry since June 2017. Department of Chemistry maintains laboratories and smart classrooms forteaching purposes. Chemistry department is affiliated to Chemistry Department, Lucknow University, Lucknow. The course includes all the three branches of Chemistry i.e.Inorganic, Organic and Physical Chemistry as mentioned in Lucknow University Syllabus. The teacher of Chemistry Department used innovative teaching and learning tools like power point, audio visuals, Chart and Models for teaching purpose in theory and Practical classes. Interactive sessions are held frequently to solve the problems of students. Assignments and class presentation are regular part of studies.
Chemistry department organizes poster, model, chart, essay and speech competitions on important topics related to syllabus. Department also organizesvisits to different research institute in the city of get students research oriented.
Students got high percentage in their exams.Some students from the department go for higher education like M.Sc. Ph.D. in different universities and some for making career in different fields.
