Dr. Kranti Singh (SLET, PhD) is an Associate Professor at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government Girls PG College in Lucknow. She holds PhD from the University of Lucknow. Dr. Kranti Singh brings over 15 years of teaching and research experience, with additional roles at IGNOU study centre. Her scholarly activities include supervising PhD students, authoring numerous research papers in national and international journals. She organised one international and two national conferences and two workshops. She presented over 20 research papers and participating actively in academic conferences. She has authored and published two book and three audited book and contributed four chapters in edited books. She is a life member of several professional associations and actively engages in community and academic service, including organizing seminars and contributing to various college committees. Her leadership extends to her involvement in the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the promotion of career counselling and cultural activities at her institution.She also serve as guest faculty at bhagedhari bhawan government coaching centre Lucknow. She has to her credit four radio talk at Akashavani Lucknow.
Dr. Rashmi Agrawal, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce and Coordinator of UPRTOU at NSCB Government Girls PG College, Aliganj, a position she has held since February 2015. She completed her post-graduation from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, and was also awarded her doctoral degree from the same university. Her Ph.D. thesis focused on "Corporate Disclosure Practices in India: A Case Study of Select Public Sector Companies." With over 12 years of teaching experience, Dr. Agrawal has published five papers in reputable journals and edited books. She has presented eleven papers at international and national conferences and has edited a book. Her research interests include Finance, Banking, Management, and Economics. Additionally, she has served in the N.C.C. and Rangers as an In-charge.
Department of Commerce, established in 1997, offers Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) program affiliated with the University of Lucknow, in 2024 currently hosting 386 students. Dedicated to holistic development, the department frequently organizes co-curricular activities, ensuring active student participation. An essential component of the B.Com. program is the internship, providing students with practical, hands-on corporate exposure.
