Mr. Rahul Patel graduated in B.Sc(Hons) mathematics from faculty of science, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in year 2014. He did M.Sc.(mathematics) from Banaras Hindu University in year 2016. During his graduation and post-graduation courses, he is selected as INSPIRE Scholar by Department of Science and Technology (DST), and got the scholarship. He qualified JRF-NET and GATE in 2016 and 2017, respectively. He published three research papers in reputed international journals in the area of mathematical modeling. He has presented his research findings in various National and International seminars. He has been selected by U.P. Public service Commission, Allahabad as assistant Professor in Govt. Degree Colleges and joined Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P.G. College on July 2021 as assistant professor in department of mathematics.

Department of Mathematics

Department of Mathematics was established in year 2005. Dr. Dinesh Kumar Singh was the first head of department, who was followed by Dr. Om Veer Singh. Now Mr. Rahul Patel working as assistant professor in department since July 2021.

The Department of Mathematics offers B. Sc. in Mathematics. The aim of our program is to cultivate a fine mathematical taste, to expose the students in the central ideas of Mathematics along with application. Students are encouraged to develop their problem solving skills, critical and analytical thinking, for which they can compete with challenging real life problems. Teaching in the Department is aimed to provide a strong Mathematical background to students. The teaching Methodology combines standard methods of University education, tutorials, written assignments, project work and student presentations.

After completing their program of study, we expect from the students that they apply the mathematical concepts, understand mathematical proofs, and construct and communicate their own ideas with strong analytical abilities. Students who graduate from our department, we want they choose different career options such as academics, research, data analysis, civil services, management, law, banking and entrepreneurship etc.
