The National Cadet Corps (NCC) at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Govt. Girls P G College is a vibrant and dynamic student organization dedicated to fostering the qualities of leadership, discipline, and patriotism among the youth. Established in 1997, our NCC unit which is a part of 20 U P Girls Battalion NCC, has been instrumental in shaping the character and careers of countless students. 85 vacancies were allotted by 20 U P Girls Battalion NCC, Lucknow Group.
NCC offers unparalleled opportunities for personal and professional growth. Cadets undergo rigorous training that instils a sense of discipline, responsibility, and teamwork. Many of our alumni have successfully leveraged their NCC experience to excel in various fields, including the different services, and corporate sector.
Our cadets participate in weekly parades, physical training sessions, and theoretical classes. They also attend CATC Camps and as well as National-level camps, adventure activities, and inter-college competitions. Specialized training in rifle shooting, mountaineering, and disaster management is also provided. They also participated in various social services activities like tree plantation, no tobacco campaign, Puneet Sagar Abhiyan, Cycle Rally, Voter awareness campaign, Save Environment, Swakch Bharat Abhiyan, Road Safety, Blood Donation and so on.
Our NCC unit has a proud history of achievements. Our cadets have consistently excelled in NCC examinations and have represented the college at state and national levels. Every Year approximate more than 20 Cadets get the Medal in NCC for various National level camps and physical like quarter guard, firing, obstacle training, drill competition, Yoga competition and various cultural activities.
NCC cadets are committed to community service and have actively participated in various social initiatives such as blood donation camps, cleanliness drives, and disaster relief efforts. These activities not only benefit the community but also enrich the cadets' experience and develop a sense of civic duty.
Joining the NCC at College is a straight forward process. Interested students can contact Lt. Pratima Sharma for more details on enrolment and eligibility. There were pre Enrollment process after than shortlisted cadets will called by 20 UP Girls Battalion and they will take proper physical and written examination for proper selection in NCC. NCC A Certificate and National or State level players will get privilege for selection.
